Alpaca My Bags

So, you remember how I said I was living with an old friend from way back in elementary school? Yeah...that's not working out. So I'm moving out with Aaron. I am buying out my end of the lease and will be out by the 15th (Whoa, that's fast!!), and hopefully in a nicer place soon!

I'm excited, but also really nervous. I'm having a really difficult time with it (seriously, I hate packing with a burning passion, and doing it on a time crunch really blows), but I don't have a choice at this point, so I just have to do what I've gotta do. We may have found our place today, we just have to go through the application process (scary!) and see what happens from there.

The place is adorable, brick outside, 3 car garage, a deck in back. The basement is unfinished, but the living room is a great size. There are 3 bedrooms, which MORE than enough room for the two of us and the cats. But I can have my office/sewing room, and he can have his geeky room or we could just use the extra space for the storage (I have far too much clothing  everything that I can't bear am too lazy to get rid of).

We can have people over in the summer to grill out, play a couple games of cornhole, and chill out on the deck. And he could still have his weekly nerd night since we'd have the room; plus we wouldn't have neighbors right next to/underneath/above us, so they could still stay up and be obnoxious until 4-6 am (every Saturday he plays videogames with 5-15 grown men... I have no clue how they've all fit into his bedroom all these years).

I'm really looking forward to the possibility of having this place to call home with someone that truly appreciates and supports me. Plus... I'll have so much more room for activities and projects! I still have so many projects to work on, it's crazy. But for right now, my project is packing up and getting ready to move (again), and if it turns out that we get accepted for the house, it'll be the best project yet.
